What’s new at Strap and Scraper London Barbershop

Since we opened our barbershop doors on Cheshire street (Just off Brick Lane) just under one year ago, we have built up our brand priding ourselves on our quality of work. Our ethos has always been a simple one listen to clients and work with them to achieve a better result rather then the get what your given approach. Consultations have been the foundation in helping us achieve our fantastic reputation and is something we always make sure we get right. Our last addition to the Scrap Book was a while back and during that time we have found a lot more of a our favourites:

(In no particular order)

Coffee spots

Hair cuts

Beards

Boozers.

Where Else?

If you read our Shoreditch Hotspots post you would have seen some of our favourite places within close proximity of our barbershop. However we have cut a little more, styled a little more and explored a little more since then. It is safe to say we have found some new East London gems. We have added Holy Shot to our selection of coffee shops. Located on Bethnal Green Road it does fantastic coffee with plenty of options and the pastries are pretty damn good too.

We have had a huge variation of cuts and beards to style and shape. If you follow our Instagram you’ll know all about that. We have been getting a lot of textured short cropped cuts as of late and we are loving it.

As far as boozers go. We spend some of our time in our local, The Carpenters Arms. We did attend the Craft Beer Rising festival which took place at the Truman Brewery from the 22nd-24th of February.  A great event with craft beer from all over the U.K. and amazing street food to keep the party going.

As you can see we have had some busy months. Our Youtube channel kicks off this month and our Academy courses begin in April so it’s only going to get busier. Stay tuned to hear more about our updates.

Sincerely, your local Shoreditch barbers.
