At Strap and Scraper we are always on the look out for great tunes to add to our collection. Our forever evolving playlist is always on the hunt for new bands and artists for our Spotify. Lucky for us being located in Brick Lane there is always an event or gig right around the corner for us to check out new music, new beer and good times. When you walk through our doors for one of our fine sprucing sessions you will hear the likes of Tom Grennan, Raleigh Ritchie, Maverick Sabre, Jordan Max, Tom Walker  The Sha La La’s and plenty old school soul and R’n’B.

Our New Music Finds

Over the past month or two we found music that may not necessarily be new, but it is new to us and  ever since we have thrown them onto our playlist we always get asked ‘Who is this,’ or ‘Can you play that song again so I can shazam it.’ 😀

Our new additions:

Violets, especially their tune When The Lights Go Down if you don’t know check it out!

Jelani Blackman and one of our favourites of his has to be Submarine. Have a listen.

Upcoming Music Gig at The George Tavern on Commercial Road.

So Saturday the 18th of November a good client and friend of our barbershop is running an event at the George Tavern on Commercial road. Live music,  soul tunes, indie tunes, good beer and a great little boozer. Not to mention one of our playlist faves the Sha La La’s are performing! This event just screams Strap and Scraper London so we will most certainly be attending this one! Located just around the corner from us at Brick Lane we can swing by after a full day of Sprucing up the fine people of London.

If our style of music sounds right up your street, swing by this Saturday. Tickets only costing 5 pounds AND you can purchase on the night. Seems like a steal!

If you have any recomendations for our playlist please do let us know.  If you are an artist with with a style that matches our Strap and Scraper London barbershop track list we would also love to hear from you. Just drop us an e-mail which you will find on our contact page of our website.
